Notes: The most poular boulder problem at Tram!
The Cube is hands down the most well known problem at
Tram. It climbs a super obvious arete on the unmistakable
Cube boulder, just South of the most popular
area at Tram - Swingdance. Put up by Frank Cornelius,
a while back, and named Dancing Queen. That name
never quite caught on though, as everyone refers to it
these days as the Cube. E.Z. Eric Harrison added
a direct mantle (V9) off of the point of the lip, which
has yet to see a repeat.
The problem starts as a low sit at a sidepull. Bust up
to a series of flat rails, then crank to the beautiful
sloper at the lip. Press out the mantle at the point,
or - if you're not an olympic gymnist, traverse left on
the sloping lip for several feet and then mantle over.
