Subject: Da Way
Rating: V3
Quality: 3 stars
Location: Tram
Notes: It's friggin' tall!
I can remember looking at this thing for years, thinking
that it would be this totally desperate and futuristic
problem. Then Damo walks up and hikes it in a couple of
tries. This problem is tall, imposing, and destined to
become a SoCal classic highball.
The problem starts by balancing up on a large flake.
From that point, grab thin crimps and hold on for dear
life! The epic unfolds with a thin sidepull 'seam' on
the left, sloping arete 'palming' on the right, and precise
footwork up a faint ramp. This scenario is played out
to the very end of the problem when, so I hear, there
are some ok holds to pull over on.
