Subject: Frank's Direct
Rating: V4/5
Quality: 3 star
Location: Tram
Notes: Classic
The classic on Frank's Boulder, Frank's Direct climbs
the center of the large overhang on this quite popular
piece of rock. Discovered by Frank Cornelius, and first
climbed by either Frank himself, Andy Blair, or Rob Mulligan.
The problem starts tricky, at a flat sidepull with meager
footing. Bust a move to a horizontal crack/rail, work
right to two thin tramslots, up to a sidepull crimp, and
then finally to a second horizontal crack/rail. Finishes
with a mantel at a funky sidepull jug 14ft. off the ground.
