Subject: Frank's Roof
Rating: V3
Quality: 2 stars
Location: Tram
Notes: Steep jug hauling
This could be one of the oldest problems at Tram. First
ascented by Frank Cornelius. This climb is also one of
the most popular problems at Tram, and rightfully so,
its steep, has good holds, and powerful moves. This problem
was almost lost around the year 2001, when a huge tree
fell on the entrance to the cave. Thanks to E.Z Eric Harrison
and his determined crew for moving the massive trunk and
propping it up and out of the way.
The problem starts as a sit at the back of the cave,
at a juggy rail on the right. Pull the roof on glassy
sidepull jugs and tricky feet, then finish the roof with
a cruxy lunge for a crest of jugs at the lip. Top out
on easy shelfs on the upper slab wall.
