Subject: Over the Boardwalk
Rating: V7
Quality: 2 stars
Location: Tram
Notes: Impressive looking line

Over the Boardwalk was First climbed by Wills Young in around '97. The problem remained a core testpiece at Tram until Dan Mills came along years later and added the sit start to it, upping the ante, and creating a new generation testpiece which he called Left Hand of Darkness. The original start, however, is still a great problem with an exciting move to the sloping top.

The problem has a really high start at two thin crimps about 7 1/2 ft. up. Most people have to stack a few pads to even reach it. From the two crimps, crank the cruxy start to a horizontal crack with some large slots in it. Follow the crack as it curves to the left and up, for about 3 or 4 feet. Set up and launch for the lip of the boulder. The lip is about 14ft. high, and its sloping nature makes for some good times.
