Quality: 4 stars
Location: Joshua Tree
Notes: Sketchy top move

Psyche is a beautiful 17ft. tall prow of swirling Gneiss intruded into classic orange Josh Monzogranite. The problem seems to be made for bouldering, as it has a soft sand landing, it starts with a head-high jug, it has great moves bottom to top, and it has a fully commiting move to a hidden "thank god" fin over the top. First Ascented by Rob Miramontes.

Start at a head-high, triangular shaped jug. Climb straight up the overhanging prow to a sidepull jug on the left. Dip into that bag of confidence and pull through the "psyche" move at the top, to a hidden black fin above the lip. A slightly harder sit start traverse has been done from the left, on the left side of a concave section. It start at a low sidepull and moves right 6ft. on crimps, linking into the starting jug.
