Subject: Sunshine Daydream aka: Yo
Picasso
Rating: V4
Quality: 4 stars
Location: Tram
Notes: Like laying on a black sand beach in Bora Bora,
sippin' on a Mai Tai!
Oh yea, it's that good. Put up by James March and named
Yo Picasso, this problem went almost completely
unknown for many a year, until Joe Morgan "rediscovered"
it and called it Sunshine Daydream. The problem
became quite popular under the name Sunshine Daydream,
it was not until recently that James' ascent became known.
So, in classic Tram fashion, the problem goes by several
names. The line climbs a stunning orange and black streaked
wall.
The problem starts as a stand or sit, the sit solidifies
the grade. The sit starts at a blocky crack. A couple
of stout sloper moves leads to a series of sweet diagonal
rails with tensiony moves. Trend out right on the last
rail to jugs. Some of the top jugs are a bit dirty, and
it's best to go to the very top of the boulder, instead
of bailing on the slightly lower right shelf. The problem
is about 16ft. tall with a clear and flat landing.
