Subject: Year of the Cockroach
Rating: V5/6
Quality: 4 stars
Location: Tram
Notes: The steepest climb at Tram.
This climb is a must-do for those who enjoy steep, open
handed sloper and jug hauling. Put up by Zach Shields
back in the day, Year of the Cockroach ascends a prow
that resembles the bow of a ship. The problem starts as
a sit and climbs about 14ft. across a big, rounded flake
system. The crux lies smack-dab in the middle of the climb
as a long reach off of unbalanced footing, which is prolly
harder for shorties. The real difficulty, though, is keeping
your pump in check towards the end as you grope at slippery
slopers, mawing at anything that might resemble a jug.
